Mission

Marea Verde was envisioned as more than a coastal resort. The goal was to position it as a sanctuary where nature is not just a backdrop, but the experience itself.In a saturated hospitality market, the challenge was to move beyond generic tropical aesthetics and instead craft an identity that felt grounded, immersive and emotionally restorative. The brand needed to reflect the meeting point of jungle and shore, where visitors disconnect from noise and reconnect with rhythm, breath and stillness.

Result

The resulting identity is rooted in organic structure and intentional restraint. A custom logotype with fluid, hand-shaped forms evokes movement and softness, while maintaining balance and clarity. Muted jungle-inspired tones create a grounded colour system that feels calm rather than vibrant or tourist-driven. Hand-drawn floral patterns referencing native Costa Rican botanicals add texture and cultural depth, while the symmetrical composition of the mark subtly reinforces harmony and equilibrium. Photography is treated with a soft, film-inspired finish to enhance timelessness and emotional warmth. Together, these elements create a cohesive brand experience that positions Marea Verde as a refined coastal sanctuary, immersive, intentional and deeply connected to its environment.
