Balconte was launched with the ambition to feel established from its very first interaction. Rather than presenting as a new interior brand, the goal was to create an identity that felt rooted, timeless and quietly confident. Inspired by the understated elegance of traditional French maisons, the brand needed to carry a sense of heritage and permanence. The challenge was to design a visual identity that suggested history and craftsmanship, even at the very beginning of its journey.
The resulting identity is anchored in timeless typography and restrained visual language. A refined serif typeface, enhanced with subtle custom letter refinements, reinforces longevity and sophistication. A muted, heritage-inspired colour palette introduces warmth and depth without overpowering the brand’s quiet confidence. Tactile elements such as paper textures, stamp details and an ink-inspired secondary mark evoke craftsmanship and tradition, subtly suggesting a legacy already in motion. Together, these choices create a cohesive and enduring brand system that positions Balconte as thoughtful, established and deeply connected to French interior culture.
